Christopher Cao is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Concord Hospital, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, Macquarie University Hospital, and Sydney Adventist Hospital.
A type of advanced, minimally invasive operation within the chest. During this procedure, the surgeon controls two hand-held joysticks and foot paddles within a Surgical Console to direct movements of micro-instruments inside the patient’s chest cavity.
