VATS & Minimally Invasive Surgery Research

Professor Chris Cao has published widely on video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) and other minimally invasive approaches to thoracic surgery.

His research includes comparisons between VATS and open thoracotomy, uniportal and multiportal techniques, minimally invasive lobectomy and the outcomes associated with less invasive approaches to lung and thoracic surgery.

This collection brings together Professor Cao's published research relating to VATS, minimally invasive thoracic surgery and the development of surgical techniques designed to reduce the impact of major thoracic procedures.
